Capped at 6 students so we can focus on you 🫵

We believe that effective education should be personal. In class, we ask questions to students and provide personalised feedback to students' practice question responses (formative feedback).

We run our lessons in-person (North Kellyville) and online, depending on your preference.
2 hour lessons – we make sure we don't waste time
Our tutors do more than just teach by offering mentorship beyond academics

Industry leading lesson materials 📖

All lesson materials consist of a theory component, practice questions and mini-mocks. Lesson materials are designed with proven pedagogical methods in mind.

Employing proven education
research 🧪

The hallmarks of good instructional design is an increase in germane (productive) cognitive load and decrease unnecessary extraneous cognitive load (the way tasks are presented to a learner) to enhance transfer of learnings and solidify working memory (Plass et al., 2010). We achieve this through our example-based learning and the Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique.

Exams at the end of each term aims to encourage active retrieval, provides students with feedback to develop formative studying strategies, and helps students recognise gaps in their knowledge (Zhang et al., 2020).
Good instructional design extends to our lesson booklets and presentations

What our students are saying

Ranked at 95/96 after Task 1, it was needless to say action needed to be taken.
Not long after, I began my journey with Germain. His methodological approach and ability to simplify abstract concepts were clear and efficient in breaking down a multitude of complex concepts. His small classes provided an engaging lesson, critical feedback sessions and an opportunity for development at an optimal pace, which saw immediate effect with multiple 100%s in later tasks.

With his chronological lesson scaffolds and concise and in-depth notes, I was able to refine a holistic understanding of the course which was reflected in a 4th place 96/100 in trials - overall top 10.

I felt like you made such an impact on me...
...like other tutors SUCK, they just do the hour, but you genuinely make a difference and taught me life stuff and getting to know the world more. Also having someone to support me with literally ONE OF MY LEAST FAVOURITE SUBJECTS was very nice. Last thing but also just want to tell you that I want to be a teacher, it’s been what I've wanted to do since primary. Anyways, you have given me so many ideas on how to teach people and how to make learning more engaging (the methods and all that but also just interactions and making a disgusting stinky subject more fun) so thank youu.

Jefferson was a great physics teacher...
...who helped me to gain a clear understanding in physics concepts (especially Module 7 and Module 8 which is often difficult to understand at first). He has the ability to adapt to the learning speed of his student, where he break down the concepts and present the physics content through different perspectives that helps to build a thorough and in depth understanding. Jefferson is a great teacher with excellent patience and is open to discussions with his student.

I have seen a massive difference in my marks...
I have been with Accelerate HSC since the start of year 12 and I can say after a term I saw a massive difference in my marks. Germain has taught me how to approach a variety of questions to a high degree and really helped develop a nuanced understanding on each subject. In lessons we are able to go through a variety of different topics quite efficiently and Germain is able to teach his lessons effectively. I have had the pleasure to learn from Germain from Accelerate and hope many can also excel the courses .
